Core Purpose
- Responsible for the successful delivery of projects by providing guidance and support across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of projects as assigned by the Head of Projects.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Department to ensure a smooth transition from tendering to the operational phase.
- Ensure full awareness, understanding, and control of all commercial and technical aspects of the project and contract.
- Ensure effective budgetary control of all project costs, including the preparation, review, and approval of invoices, recovery of third-party costs where appropriate, and resolution of client invoicing disputes.
- Where required, ensure a project plan is developed and maintained throughout the execution phase.
- Liaise with Project Managers and internal Department Managers to coordinate the delivery of requested services.
- Ensure all project risks are identified, assessed and recorded in the HIRA risk register, with appropriate mitigation plans developed, implemented, and documented.
- Review and approve all project documentation.
- Implement the Company’s QHSE Management Systems across all project phases, ensuring compliance with ISO and other applicable national standards, including SCC (VCA).
- Ensure project reporting is effectively managed and delivered in accordance with internal and client requirements.
- Conduct management site visits during project execution.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Projects on project status and progress.
- Conduct project close-outs, including lessons learned sessions and the capture of client feedback.
- Provide input to tenders and contract negotiations in support of the Commercial Department.
QHSE Responsibilities
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with offshore industry best practices and relevant legislation.
- Proficient in IT applications and tools including Microsoft Office.
- Highly organised with strong planning capabilities.
- Effective in coordinating and managing information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
